Only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because Alex is a music phenom. He was incredibly sweet and dilligent. I have had no other good experiences at this place until him.
Every corner i looked at i saw something that i loved. Had to restrain myself not to walk out spending hundreds in there. From Classic to modern records I loved this store.
It’s a pretty cool shop and there’s a large selection of vinyls! I was looking for a couple of vinyls and I was kind of hesitant asking for assistance because of some of the reviews I’ve read, but I was lucky! the girl who helped me was super nice and helped me look through vinyls to help me find what I was looking for and she even entertain my toddler’s fascination when she would point out the the different artwork on the vinyl covers. The thing that got me were the prices. I’m new to collecting vinyls and their prices were a bit higher than other record shops I checked out in SD. I don’t know if the prices were higher because they’re vintage vinyls or… something because i found the same vinyls that were brand new for cheaper, but I still bought them and I can’t wait to listen to them when I get back home from my vacation!
Small indie record store that's been a staple in the Hillcrest neighborhood for years. I always pop in when in South Bay. It's small but packed with a lot of goodies for the vinyl miner. Picked up Mission of Burma album last time. Great punk selection.
Decent selection of records, but pricey. It’s packed and not extensively organized, so one has to be patient and have a lot lot time to explore the store.
