Neat stuff to see everywhere. Extensive selection of all kinds of genres and great selection of music en español. Records are all priced great and seem to be clean! Dude also has great music recommendations!
A small but nicely curated record store with a cool vibe and one of the best (and most organized) funk/soul sections I've seen. Fair prices, lots of obscure stuff, 2 nice TT's to sample records and a very knowledgeable and helpful owner. Super cool Bario Logan vibrant neighborhood with murals and shops. A gem for sure!
This wasn't just a record store visit; it was a spontaneous family dance party fueled by incredible vinyl and a seriously knowledgeable owner. Vast, expertly curated collection covering virtually all music genres, leading to immediate new artist discoveries. Owner is genuinely passionate, helpful, and provides personalized music education/recommendations. Fun, high-energy atmosphere with great music spinning throughout, making it a truly immersive experience. But being an authentic local gem, it is a small, packed space- means it can feel crowded. But the music is so well organized by genre and then alphabetically, you're able to browse and pin down your finds easily. Absolutely recommend to anyone who appreciates vintage vinyl and wants an authentic, soulful music discovery experience with truly expert guidance. Each family member (ranging from age 15 to 50) left with something they were excited about. Records, albums, stickers, posters... every music lover is bound to find something!
I visited about half a dozen greater San Diego record stores during my trip, and this was my favorite. It is small, but there are gems if you dig. Prices are reasonable and the Barrio Logan area is terrific.
Cool little spot. Love rare vinyl LPs the last few times I've visited the store there seems to be new rare LPs Everytime. I've also scored on some original rock posters from the 60's and 70's grateful Dead. I also have to mention I'm also a toy collector. Definitely love the toy lay out this store has. Awesome record store..
