Great atmosphere and very welcoming staff! As I was flipping through the records, one of the staff remarked about how hot it was outside and said they had water if I wanted any. She also let me know they had a little corner with a chair and record player if I wanted to test-listen to any of the (already opened) records, which I really appreciated. The selection was good. Not expansive, but also not super limiting. I wish they had more options-- it seems like they are going for a minimalist aesthetic, but I'd rather have more options and variety than open floor space. The pricing seemed a bit unusual. Some of the newer/ more popular records felt like they were way more expensive than they should have been, but then the older/ less popular stuff seemed to be a lot cheaper than I would've expected. So, in a sense, it evens out? Overall though, it was a good experience and I definitely would go back!

Hands down the best record store experience in San Diego. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and they genuinely care about you and want to help you feel welcome. Great selection of different genres and other cool merchandise. There’s usually a DJ with great taste spinning something while you’re there, and they host events for the community too. Cant say enough about this place
