Love this vinyl store, so many excellent choices and found many CD's and Vinyls I never saw anywhere else, highly recommend ♥ 👍

Amazing selection, crazy finds in the $1/$2 section, and a knowledgeable, kind owner. Not the biggest shop by any stretch, but what they lack in size they make up for with a well curated inventory and very fair prices. Japanese records and imports, classics and sleepers across genres. The shop itself has a great vibe that makes digging even better. I was visiting San Diego and was pleased to find that they’ll ship records back home for a flat fee. The records arrived quickly, neatly packed, and well protected with zero issues. Big shoutout to this shop and the owner. I’m very much looking forward to hitting this spot again next time I’m in town.

On October 6, 2025 my 14 year old son and I were visiting Oceanside, California and rode the coaster down to San Diego specifically to visit Normal Records. When we walked in, and were greeted by the owner named Caleb. He was very personable and we enjoyed the story of how he came to open Normal Records. It was an experience we will never forget. Stopped in while visiting San Diego for work. Great selection and prices. Don’t let the size of the shop fool you. There’s lots to dig through!

I absolutely love this record store. They have so much of my favorite artists vinyl and in an area that is pretty small it was very surprising how good of a store it is. The owner is also very nice and welcoming. Vinyl is reasonably priced too.
