One of a handful of amazing record stores in/around SD, Folk Arts is jam-packed with folks and jazz, along with a decent rock, alt and hip hop. In honesty: the time spent to have a section of dozens of sub-genres is nothing short of impressive. Hell YEAH - go check them out! Support local! ✊🏽

Very cool record store with tons of variety and niche genres/more obscure artists. Although it’s not the best spot if you’re in search of modern albums and artists. The larger majority of their records seem to be used and it’s definitely for those who love digging through crates to find that certain something you’re interested in. I also appreciate the fact that they have a test station to make sure your record sounds good before buying. They also have a decent selection of CD’s. It’s like taking a ride in a Time Machine!

I second most comments here. One of the best record stores I've ever visited. Very nice selection of records. I went for CDs and they had a lot of options. As for vinyl, it's truly a world of options. It's surely worth the visit!

Best record store in San Diego! Extremely robust and diverse selection spanning all different music genres from artists across the globe. Staff are extremely friendly and super helpful. They’re also incredibly fair when it comes to trading which is super rare.

This is one of the best record stores I’ve ever been in!They have an incredible assortment of collectable LPs from the 1960’s Rock and Roll , Jazz and so many other categories. This is the way used record store used to be 25 years ago!5*
