Mission Synths

Excellent store featuring a variety of music equipment; From stand alone beat machines to build your own/DIY modular synth setups, this gem in the mission district is worth the walk-in. I appreciated the helpful conversation I had with Brian, he was very knowledgeable, kind, and professional. I unfortunately didn't purchase anything major but bought a mug to support the business and for his time. Hope to return someday soon!

Amazing new synth shop. Tons of modular stuff, and standalone instruments too. They have a lot of the gear put out to try and play with!

I spent hours here. The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. They have a great selection of modules and some hard to get classic synths. Definitely a must for synth geeks and collectors.

This place is managed by people who really love electronic instruments and music, who know very well what they are selling. It's not very big but the selection of products is very good and you can know beforehand what's available on their website. They were very friendly, I could test and compare two modules I was considering for purchase and was able to test them freely in a very big eurorack system. The place irradiates an energy that gave me an urge to go back home and start making music, which I don't find in a guitar center. The neighborhood is also very nice, which is a plus if you are only visiting San Francisco as I was doing.
