Favorite vinyl shop in town, five star service and really nice place!

Today I bought the Spinbase Max 2 Turntable speaker system by Andover at Supervinyl. I couldn’t be happier. Great customer service, and they helped me tinker with some of less common settings before I bought it. And of course, they have a great selection of vinyl. I would recommend this store to anyone.

Super Vinyl on Sycamore is one of those rare spots that feels like an actual record store—curated, passionate, and always worth a visit. Tucked just off the main drag in Los Angeles, it manages to be both low-key and deeply impressive. The selection hits that perfect balance of accessible and eclectic—whether you’re hunting for a clean pressing of a classic like Coltrane’s Blue Train, or digging into something a little weirder from obscure psych or avant-garde jazz, chances are they’ve got it, or they know how to get it. The staff is incredibly helpful and informed, and that vibe runs through the whole shop whether the owner is around or not. (Though when he is, he’s friendly, welcoming, and clearly still in love with music.) There’s no snobbery here—just a solid crew who know their stuff and genuinely want to help you find your next great listen. Beyond records, they’ve also got turntables, accessories, books, a few audio odds and ends, and a curated vibe that makes you want to hang around. It’s a great spot for crate-digging, music discovery, or just recharging in a space where the love of vinyl still feels real. A proper gem in the LA music scene.

What an amazing first visit to Supervinyl!! Went there to meet Tears For Fears and to buy their new double album. I waited in line from around 10:30 am to the 2 pm signing time, even though if I had shown up at 2 pm, I would have still be able to participate (Tears For Fears would sign only 200 albums). There was a coffee shop and bathroom across the street, so the wait was not a problem. Everyone was super friendly. The meet & greet process was smooth and flawless. The owner and staff were absolutely wonderful! Just a fabulous experience overall.

What a cool store. The customer service was great and super friendly. My daughter and I were on the Elton John scavenger hunt for the free tickets to Dodger stadium for Elton John’s final concert. The set up for Elton John was awesome! The location was clean and organized and easy to find. Ten out of ten would totally recommend. Parking is a bit challenging and they have parking police patrolling the neighborhood.
