Squeezebox is my favorite independent book store and record shop. They have excellent offerings of both new and used books and records. Looking for a puzzle? They’ve got those too as well as other media and curiosities. Everything is reasonably priced. They deserve your business, Evanston! I always find unexpected things I’m interested in every visit. And I am a big fan of the staff picks in books & music—never been steered wrong. Highly recommended.

Lovely shop around the corner of the fossil / rock shop. My hubby and kids all found a great book to start reading this weekend. Even my youngest who found two Calvin & Hobbes books. And found our favorite author's first book ( The Hazel Wood - Melissa Albert) ❤️ 📖

Amazing, friendly, SUPER knowledgeable staff- amazing selection of LPs, from hip hop to indie to obscure jazz and world music. I love to shop here. They have a huge selection of new and used books as well. Always willing to special order something for me! Tim literally knows every single thing about music in the world. I love having this store in my neighborhood and its a joy to watch them grow!
