During a business trip to Vegas for a convention, I discovered from locals that Los Angeles was only a four-hour drive away. While most would consider four hours a long trip, I saw it as a wonderful opportunity to explore another part of the United States. Having been a truck driver, mainly on the East Coast, traveling to the Midwest and West Coast was a fantastic experience. I took time to visit the beach and popular tourist spots, hung out with locals, played some golf, and unexpectedly found Record Safari. As a music enthusiast who appreciates all genres and international music, I believe music is a perfect escape and a way to enjoy life. It’s like having a perfect soundtrack—whether at the end of a movie or during a suspenseful scene. Being from Pennsylvania on the East Coast, I noticed we don’t have many record stores like Record Safari. Walking in, you can smell the old vinyls, and surprisingly, there were over ten people inside, which is a good sign. The store had vintage video games, famous records on display, and you could even listen to records before deciding to buy. The staff made me feel at home, and if I didn’t have to catch a flight, I would have bought 20 to 30 vinyls, not because of the prices but because of the friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves the sound and passion of music. If you enjoyed this review, please check out our YouTube channel, B Clean Professionals.
I must say that this establishment is truly remarkable, indeed the finest record store along the entire West Coast. The collections are exceptional, and the staff is top-notch. If you happen to be in the vicinity of Glendale and have a passion for music and collecting, I highly recommend paying this place a visit.
Wow this place is great. Workers are also great. I told this guy too tell me where I can search for The Beatles White Album. After few minutes. Fortunately I found a new version of this album. There is even place where I can test it.
I’ve found so many gems here — great selection, fair prices, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The records I didn’t grab the first time still haunt me (Misfits Beware, Van Halen A Different Kind of Truth, Ozzy Osbourne box set, etc.). Definitely worth digging through the crates here — you never know what you’ll find!
Record Safari passed the vibe check. Great selection of new and used, and some really rare vinyl, made my recent visit so worth it. Also, they have a parking lot so that's sick. Really cool associates too. I'll definitely come back here and will be recommending it to others.
