Reckless Records: Loop

This location has an excellent selection of vinyls and CDs but its awesome staff really set Reckless apart from other record stores. They're both kind and attentive. The prices are reasonable and everything is pretty well organized. To top that off, there's been good music playing every single time I've stopped in. It's well worth your time to come by

Location location location. Simply put my experience at the loop reckless was so terrible. I live down town and wanted a miles Davis kind of blue record from the analogue productions press that I was soooo looking forward too. I am a regular at reckless and have bought many records there. But upon arrival at the loop I discovered the record, which was advertised as sealed and brand new, opened with finger prints all over it. When I told the clerk, he told be he could give 5 percent off, but I responded that it is essentially a used recorded now and should have used recorded prices. I told the clerk I would not buy it, as it is criminal. I can buy the record at many places, even directly brand new unsealed, for the same price so why would I pay 5 percent off for a now used record. As I was walking out of the store the clerk called me a redneck cause I wear a cowboy hat. Welcome to the current world now. At best you could advertise as used and near mint now. Long story short I would go to Belmont or Milwaukee locations. The loop location is poorly managed. Truly disappointing after I have spent so much money at reckless. I am also a women and have a great experience when women are clerks at the store. How is it ok to call someone a redneck as they are walking out. How!

Great place to check out. The album selection was phenomenal. I could spend hours looking through all the albums they had. I will definitely be coming back. Plus the staff was very nice and helpful.

I pass by Reckless often while doing errands in the loop, and so happy I decided to stop in the other day. Solid records for the sections I looked at. DVDs were good too, some hard to find surprises mixed in. Also love the greeting card section!

They have a great collection of records and CDs and movies. I purchased a lot of record that day. The staff were super helpful and explained exactly how everything is organized. Def recommend
