Portman's Music Superstore

My whole crew loves this place. The weekly piano and quitar lessons had expanded our family life for the better. I am also thrilled to receive as a token the quitar cords which get replaced in the shop. New experimental sculpure upcoming!

Nobody acknowledged me after being in the store a while. Two of the three employees working were doing nothing. One of them walked away from the area I was looking in as if to avoid me. I asked one of them a question and he acted irritated that I bothered him and gave me the laziest most careless answer. Seeing that they obviously didn’t care about my business, I left. They had an opportunity to make a nice sale if they had acted like they cared even the slightest bit. Now ordering from Sweetwater. Hope you see this Mr. Portman

Very cool music store. Very attentive salespeople. Wish there bass selection was bigger but no big deal. I would recommend

Customer service is awful. I have been into this store several times and am never approached nor acknowledged. Employees make me feel as I am a burden to be in the store. Even at checkout you wait and then have to ask someone to help you and still feel as if they don’t want to.

These guys are great. I went in to upgrade my acoustic guitar, and get my first electric. I know diddly squat about guitars, especially electrics, and they did an awesome job of explaining the different options and letting me try them out to my hearts content. They even talked me out of spending too much money, instead encouraging me to get two reasonably priced, excellent quality guitars, versus the many much more expensive options at the store.
