Stopped by as we were passing through town on vacation. Absolutely amazing store. The selection of literally everything in here is endless, so many cool memories, and blasts from the past to check out - you can spend hours in here! The owners are extremely nice and personable, we talked a bit about sports cards and they made my family feel like we had known them already. Even threw in some discounts and freebie cards for my son. Wish I had this kind of store local to me, this is a must stop and shop location, and this is absolutely how to run a local business. Thanks again
As someone who was born after the 2000's but loves the tech and music of the previous decades. It was a wonderful mix of an antique thrift store and a vintage game shop. Rows upon rows of records from every genre. Comic books, sports cards, different collectibles. Amazing staff who don't outright interact with you unless you cross paths in the store, and greet you when you walk in or leave.
This shop. Where to begin. Locally owned and managed by people who care about seeing the whites of your eyes and the soundtrack of your daily life. Walking in the unassuming front door of Paradise Records is a not-so-secret portal to nostalgia. Where else can the latest vinyl releases from Taylor Swift to Freddie Gibbs shine next to your cool uncle’s childhood collection of comic books? Get lost for an hour discovering $1 records, favorite teenage angst CDs, and cassette tapes. Don’t let the organized chaos blind you to antique treasures that serve as port keys to important cultural history. And if you see a stack of dishes that takes you back to a feeling memory, feel free to speed dial your therapist or make your mom’s spaghetti. Or both. And grab an Eminem album while you’re at it. The staff can tell you which section he’s alphabetized under. You’re welcome.
Working on a personal art prop project and was in need of a reference, my first thought of course was to vist Paradise Records, so I drove on down to visit Mr. Tall, Dark & Handsome, and side kicks to rack their brain for Help. I tell you, I did not leave disappointed. I can always find that perfect book, or comic, antiques, 8ft Skeltons, collectable figures, etc. Their staff is always excited and ready to spring into action!
What a cool place. LP records yes, includes vintage toys, sports memorabilia, comics, sports cards, A giant dragon, antiquities. Great owner too! A hodgepodge of all kinds of collectibles. A diamond in the rough for sure. Great for browsing, adding to your collection of unique or valuables on a dime. Grown over the last year, lots of cool collectibles.
