Orbit Records

I can’t say enough good things about Orbit Records. I recently ordered a very rare record that I had been searching for everywhere, and the prices elsewhere were astronomical. Orbit’s price, on the other hand, was extremely fair — no markup at all — which honestly caught me by surprise in the best way. On top of that, shipping was very reasonable and the whole process was smooth and professional from start to finish. It’s refreshing to find a shop that clearly values its customers and the music, not just flipping rare items for inflated prices. I’ll absolutely be looking to Orbit Records again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone searching for hard-to-find vinyl or just a great record store to support.

Nice local record store. Staff/ owners are knowledgeable and engaging. They had a good selection of stuff including the Record Store Day releases for this year. I think they do a lot of online sales too. Hours have been off in the past but I am guessing they cannot afford to staff backups so if someone is sick the place is probably closed. A true Mom n Pop location with all the pros and cons.

I consider this record store the gem of the neighborhood. The small’ish store packs a lot of great new and used records. Bought a few new record and a used jazz record that was in great condition. So glad to have a record shop within walking distance! Don’t sleep on this place if you collect records!

Finally, today I made it to Orbit! Don't blink when you're zooming down Grand Avenue, or you'll miss it! It truly is a *hidden gem*. They have a large variety, so it's worth taking a little bit of time to look through the bins because you could find a record or two that you didn't know about. I know I did. Also, if there's something you're looking for, ask the owners because they may have it behind the counter. They have so much that it's not all on the sales floor, so don't be shy!
