Madonna Inn

A must stop on a northern Cal road trip if you have a bit of extra time. The quirkiness alone is worth the stop, but their desserts are to die for. My friend usually gets the champagne cake (also, super delish! The cake is so fluffy and tasty!), but I saw the biggest cinnamon roll I had ever seen in my life and decided I had to have it. And O M G, it was literally the most delicious cinnamon roll I’ve ever had in my entire time on this planet earth. I would go back JUST for this pastry magic. I got the kind with nuts but they also have some without. Go for the views; stay for the dessert! It was still decked out for Valentine’s when we went. ❤️

So we went to dance... what a fun night we had! We met some friends got a great table by the dance floor in the ballroom. The band was SO good. They played such a wide variety of music; big band, jazz, Santana, recent top hits, country...so many fun songs to dance to! Great date night and or friend or even family night. All ages were out on the dance floor having a great time!

We had been to this place as a pit stop on the way from pismo beach to San Jose not to stay. This place is so beautiful and attractive and has a good architecture. The whole area looks fascinating. The restrooms are also very fancy looking like a palace. The bakery was great. The day being valentines day, the restaurant was beautifully decorated.

Very fun, eccentric place to stay, right off the 101 highway. Every room is uniquely decorated, some have a quirky entrance. We already had dinner before arriving, but went to the on-site resturant for dessert and coffee. The variety of cakes are delicious. A slice can easily serve two, if you can decide on the same slice. Definitely worth the stay. Bring your swimsuit, the pool is beautiful at sunset.

The place is beautiful and all in pink, which is my favorite color, and it amazes me. However, I had the worst service experience in the restaurant. The manager spoke to each table but ignored ours, just passing by as if we weren't there. It is unfair to treat customers this way. They served us soup without crackers, but the table next to us received crackers. As soon as the customers sat at their table, they were quickly served starters. What a shame! I cannot recommend this place or come back anymore. Treat everybody the same!!!
