Boo Boo Records has it all. Extensive vinyl collection was so very many genres! Super cool swag, the biggest T-shirt collection I’ve ever seen in a record store! They have the largest hip-hop section I’ve ever seen, so impressive!
Malik was a spectacular and knowledgeable help while going through old records. Will highly recommend to any audiophiles out there!
I needed a CD that was recorded live in 1995 and was out of print. I called Boo Boo Records. They were able to find one for me. New ones can no longer be purchased, so it was a pre-owned disc. There wasn't a mark or scratch on the cover/sleeve, and the artwork inside was perfect. The disc was flawless. Altogether, it looked brand new, as if no one had ever touched it. Thank you very much. I was able to pick it up within two and a half weeks after they located it. I called them to let them know when I'd be coming by. They had it upfront at the register with my name on it, ready to go. I was in and out of the store within five minutes; I'm not kidding, my ride did not even have to circle the block. They stayed right out front in the traffic lane because no one was coming. Truly a fantastic experience with Boo Boo Records. If you have more time than I did, they have a lot of records and other items to look at. I have even purchased drumsticks there in the past, so if you have the time, look around; there are a lot of cool things to see.
Legit Record Shop, although the first 1/2 is CD's. Great selection of both new and used vinyl in the rear of the store along with equipment to start a new small analog audio system (lots of Audio Technica turntables and small amplified speakers available). Lots of posters, t shirts, etc. We ended up buying our kids some BooBoo Record T Shirts, because they would appreciate the vintage look of the shirts. Great place to stop in and check out - buy hey, no Clifford Brown in the Jazz section? You have rows of Miles Davis, but no Clifford? ( I found a card in the new Vinyl section, but that was it) My kids are Tyler fans, so included those photos....
was very cozy . the prices were a bit expensive for cds , but you gotta make your profit somehow . they had a pretty good selection , and definitely had everything you’d need to buy a music setup . turntables .. acoustic guitars .. tshirts .. and even some movies .
