Mad City Music is the best record store in Madison! A local gem. They have a great, curated, selection of new and used Vinyl and CDs. There’s a little bit of everything that can meet anyone’s interests. Locally owned and has a small community feel. The staff are incredibly friendly, but will stay out of your way if you just want to browse. Overall, great store that is worth checking out regularly, as inventory is always being added. I went in this past Friday and when I went up to the counter to purchase 2 ICP CDs, the guy working there said “Two of the best!” We then continued to talk about our love for ICP and honestly was a great brief chat. This made my day. Thank you Juggalo bro, MCL.

Super kind and helpful employees, nicer than any other record store I’ve been to. They have incredible prices and the used soul/jazz section they have is immaculate. A smaller store but packed with gems.

Such a great new/used record store! I found so many new releases and older classics I wanted, I will absolutely be back! Everyone who loves cds, vinyls and cute record stores should give this place a try (or multiple).
