Awesome, eclectic, expansive selection of various physical mediums, but mostly vinyls! This shop feels like your uncle or grandpas basement in the best way possible. It’s cozy, it’s inviting, and it’s for music lovers. All different types of genres and decades of music. I popped in while waiting for my artist at Chicago Tattooing to finish their previous client. Ended up with 2 new vinyls for my collection! Very reasonable prices!!! Support Goovin High!

Great record store. Joe’s got everything you could think of and more. From old RSD records to ones you won’t find at any other stores. I highly highly highly recommend this place!

This is a great record store. Absolutely packed with tons of records and everything is clearly and cleanly alphabetized. Except the classical records, which was a bit disappointing. I had been here about ten years ago and was so excited to return, but I’ll say that now he mostly stocks newer records, re-releases, and tons of record store day items. That’s cool but it just wasn’t my thing. The blues section, which is my go-to, was so packed that I was unable to even flip through (or even pull a few out to enable me to flip). So though he’s got a ton of stuff and it’s fun to browse, I’m only giving it four stars for the predominance of newer vinyl and the fact that I went by twice and he wasn’t open even though it said it would be on Google. Definitely call ahead.
