Great place for people interested in dark and macabre. Even though I'm used to experiencing weird things, the visit was very intense and left a lasting impression. The staff were super friendly and knowledgable. Make sure you go to the basement afterwards :)
encountered this place by chance and really enjoyed the museum! the docents were very knowledgeable and friendly and the museum had all sorts of interesting stuff. definitely recommend
Really cool place, has a lot of information about cults, killers, and all things dark. The fact they have things from the real events is amazing to see. The employees were amazing, full of information and really nice to talk to. Also loved the pinball games downstairs. Really recommend checking this place out, I plan on coming back for some records and check out the DVDS. You can definitely tell the owner is very passionate in his business. Great place.
$15 museum fee for residents of Cook County, $20 for tourists. Well worth a visit. Very interesting collection and doesn’t feel exploitive or gross. Staff was so helpful and fun to chat with throughout our visit.
I had such an amazing experience at Graveface Chicago today. I’ve had a really rough week and decided to treat myself by checking it out, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted. My tour guide (I think her name was Sheena or Shana—sorry for forgetting!) was absolutely fantastic. She made the whole experience fun, informative, and genuinely uplifting. I walked out feeling better than when I walked in, which is something I didn’t expect from a museum visit! The exhibits are incredible! They have everything from artwork by John Wayne Gacy to even Charles Manson’s gray sweatpants. You can tell how much care and thought goes into every detail here. I can’t wait to come back and explore more. Highly recommend!
