Backtrack Records

We were in town for one day. Stopped on our way back home. We collected cds. This place was great! Great prices. The owner was super informative and helpful. We had a great visit.

My son loved this place. The guy working was really nice and helpful. He was able to find all the records he wanted.

I wanted to share a review on Backtrack Records in Lincoln because of my experience there. The owner (didn't get his name, sorry) asked if I needed help as I entered and was helping a woman who had brought in a bunch of records to sell. Because the store is fairly small I overheard his take on her records and based on the conversation, I was impressed with his knowledge and honesty in sharing his opinion of the value and price of her collection. I didn't buy an album but that conversation stuck with me and I consider this a fine record store, worth of your visit and patronage. Good selection and the owner is very helpful if you have questions. My experience was excellent so I am going to recommend that anyone in the Lincoln and surrounding areas stop by Backtrack Records.

The only thing that keeps my review from being higher is the smell of the place definitely a turn off I have no clue how someone can be in there for more than 20 mins. There is a awful chemical smell that gave me a headache. Definitely will never enter there again till they deal with the issue.

First timer at Backtrack, won’t be my last. I had a great time digging through the $2 & $4 sections with a few good finds. Good selection of records. Cool dude greeted me and said he didn’t want to bother me while looking and to ask if there were question, very much appreciated that. All used vinyl not new stuff! Spent $30 and left happy!
