Abraxas Wax

The Abraxas is a truly special music shop. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the vibes and it immediately fuels inspiration. At first glance, it may feel like it isn't a huge selection, but Seth's love of music provides a curated collection that will have something for you. It is extremely rare that I don't find something every time I visit Abraxas. Seth is also providing so much life to the music scene in Eau Claire. Abraxas constantly has live music, album release parties, and more. Seth graciously offered to host our record release party and it was a truly amazing evening. Huge shout-out to Seth and the Abraxas for all that they do!

Great shop; organized and well lit. I found one of my keys. While not a bargin it was competitively priced. The other albums I bought were very reasonably priced. After chatting with the fellow working there we realized he had a CD I'd been looking for. Great stop.

I don’t typically leave good reviews, but when I’m impressed with a business, then I feel it’s my duty. This isn’t just a record store. It’s an important part of our community. I’ve met tons of cool people here whether that be customers buying similar records I enjoy, people attending the live shows there, or even the owner himself. The owner will always bend over backwards to make sure you’re getting the best deal. As a consumer, it’s nice to have a bunch of options here in Eau Claire for records and VHS. But you’re always going to find something at Abraxas that nobody else has. It’s truly a one of a kind store.

Abraxas Wax is the best record store in all of the lands. Great selection for an Ogre. Onions have layers and Ogres have layers. If you have layers then peel back and find your favorite genre. They have it all!

This shop is one of the biggest reasons why I keep coming back to Eau Claire. The owner is always such a treat to talk to and really cares about each of his customers in here, even if they're from out of town like me. Plus, the selection of music here is amazing, regardless of whether you're looking for vinyl records, CDs, or even cassettes. Every time I visit I always end up leaving with a big stack of CDs. It's worth the 4-hour drive and I'll definitely keep coming back for years to come!
