Great people. Good retail space. Trade in's SUCK. Poor Value. Not worth your time.

Absolutely loved it here. Great selection of used and new vinyl, the shop employees said they will be bringing in more every week. Super great selection of Criterion movies and honestly the best prices I've seen out there. My daughter loved browsing the kids movies and books. I was very excited to snag a few VHS I had grown up watching. I will absolutely be stopping back in to add to the vinyl collection!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was going to make a joke and ask if they had Mojo Nixon (they would have got it, if you don't) but they did in fact have a Mojo Nixon record. That gives them a 6th star, and a negative star to whomever gave it up.

Just getting back into vinyl and CD’s. Have been to several local used record stores several times immediately with enthusiasm for the re engagement of an old hobby interest. I was excited to go to both Encore records and Media Exchange. Encore was great and they guarantee that the albums don’t skip. If they do they will take care of it so that the loyalty and good will is preserved. They inspect and rate the condition of everything as does Media exchange. After spending $260 at Media I discovered two skips on the first disc of a two disc Rolling Stones album that was marked “VG”. I paid $24.99 for that specific album set. I respectfully emailed to inquire about an exchange or a refund only to be told by the owner that they don’t cover that. Moreover, he claimed that he didn’t know of any record shop that did… kind of a rough attitude after a $260 purchase that will now translate to much, much more in terms of where I spend my time and money in the future. Can’t recommend this place. Take the money and run doesn’t work for me. Update: Wazoo also covers against skipping records. Going there today. Update: It’s March 2024: I’m three months into my new sport and I’ve purchased 200 CD’s and 100 vinyls. Never went back to this place and the other Ann Arbor outlets have been awesome.

Great selection of media (old and new school American, kpop, anime, games, and more). Relaxed environment to shop in - I felt nostalgic but also found a newer kpop album called layover that had photo cards I was missing. Checkout was easy and the employee working the counter was friendly.
