Yellow Dog Discs

Yellow Dog Disc's used to have a dog, but not anymore. :-( But they do have a great selection of all types of media from new to old vinyl, DVD's, CD's, and about everything else. Unfortunately I'm an old vinyl guy so even though they had a fair selection, it just didn't offer a whole lot to match my taste. Not local, but whenever I get back to the area I'll definitely check them out again.

Staff is very knowledgeable on all things concerning LP’s and the different options as far as record players. They will go out of their way to make the customer happy which is a dying breed in the service industry. A Wilmington staple-worth checking them out even if you’re just in town for a day or 2!

I bought a used vinyl for my mom and she already had it. I went to return or exchange and they said they don’t take returns or exchanges. They said I could sell it back for 7 dollars when I paid 16 for it. Then they said they wouldn’t buy it back from me because it was the weekend? I get if someone brought like 50 in but it was one and the store was empty. This may be “policy” but I will voice my distaste of my experience here

I have gone to yellow dog discs for many years. I live about two and a half hours away about 180 mi. And when I am at the beach I always go to Yellow Dog discs as well as I have ordered from them now that that's an option! But it's a bit of a tradition for me to stop by and get some CDs to listen to on my drive back home from the beach. They always have a great selection lots of unique metal bands and it always varies. Of course my highlight used to be seeing sweet Rusty, but since he has passed away I still treasure the store and the memories. I love the little picture of him by the card machine. They're always friendly and when you do order they ship quickly and package your items well.
