I've been to some great flea markets. This is not one of them. While some good things can be found (collectibles, new stuff, etc), many of the booths are so cluttered you can't walk in and see everything. You can find some antiques as well, but there is even more junk. I never saw a map of the flea market anywhere, and unless you have a good sense of direction, you may not end up seeing every corridor. A lot of the booths/stores were not open on the Sunday I visited. I don't know if that's because they all closed due to no business or that they all go to church on Sunday. And of the ones that were open, many don't take cards. Best store there was the Halloween store.
Had a good time at the West Ga flea market,( a place that pretty much has anything someone would want or need. ) we were at the comic book shop for the costume contest , that Rodger the owner of the shop , always does for Halloween every year . kids, adults ,pets all dress up. When or not everyone gets something from the gift table :)
As flea markets go, it's kind of overwhelming. You start to see a lot of the same stuff over and over again because so much of what is being sold is cheap new stuff. There are some vendors with actual collectibles or used household items. My biggest issue was that it is supposedly open until 3:30, and I got there at 2:30 and more than half of the vendors were already gone by then. I would suggest that if you can't get there by noon, it's probably not worth going. I feel like I wasted a drive out there.

Warning: Safety Concerns at west Ga flea market I am writing to express my extreme disappointment and concern about a disturbing incident that occurred at here on 11/30/25. My husband and I are regular visitors to the flea market, and we have never experienced anything like this before. The incident began when an older gentleman, who was parked near us, became aggressive and started yelling at my husband over a parking spot. The gentleman followed him through the flea market, continuing to yell and threaten to call a tow truck. My husband, feeling harassed, eventually agreed to move his car, but as he was doing so, he was confronted by a security guard who was acting aggressively and threateningly. What's most concerning is that the security guard was armed and was ensuring he made it known that he had a gun and wasn’t affraid to use it on my husband. I am appalled that a security personnel, who is supposed to ensure safety, would behave in such a manner and that management would allow this to happen. and yes, I am saying management allowed this to happen because instead of doing what they are supposed to do and de-escalate the situation, they also came at us in a rude aggressive manner. When police were called, I believe the response was inadequate. The officer on the scene seemed to be familiar with the staff and failed to take our complaint seriously. The most alarming part about this is that the security guard Hide his gun before their arrival as instructed by his management. He had two cars there one his and one I assume his wife’s he hid the gun in his truck and told the officer his car was what I’m assuming is his wife’s car, and that’s the car that was searched despite us telling the officer where he had Put it so the officer returns to his car doesn’t say anything to us and we watch the security guard get in the truck. The manager instructed him to give it to her. They get in a car and they were allowed to leave the scene to better hide the gun and return later. This alone tells me that someone who is supposed to keep people safe isn’t even supposed to be carrying a firearm and nothing was done about it and nothing is going to be done about it until someone ends up hurt or even dead. I urge anyone considering visiting to exercise extreme caution, especially if you have young children. The lack of effective security measures and the presence of illegally obtained firearms in a crowded environment is unacceptable. I hope that the owners of West Ga Flea Market will take immediate action to address these safety concerns and ensure that all vendors and customers can shop in a safe and respectful environment.
