Great little shop with an incredibly eclectic inventory. During my 4 years at UM in the 80s, I was in there at least 1-2x/week, every week. Bought a huge number of used cassettes and LPs at very reasonable prices (still have many of those LPs). The staff was always super knowledgeable and helpful, and didn’t have the attitude that you sometimes encounter in independent shops like that. I would definitely credit them with helping to expand my musical taste and introducing me to dozens of new bands. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in A-squared.
Small shop but has a lot of great music, didn’t feel rushed browsing. Staff was cool
Fantastic experience and very impressed with the guy at the counter. It’s so rare to have super cool people as the customer service representative and it’s a wonderful breath of fresh air when you walk in there
This is one hell of a store! Amazing selection of genres, great GREAT prices, and they have lots of really cool rare finds. I went in today and walked out with some crazy wild old techno records that are exceptional! Lots of stuff, new and old, from tapes to CDs to vinyl, definitely make the stop here! Very friendly and welcoming staff as well.
Of the record shops I visited in Ann Arbor, this had my favorite selection. I'm more of a CD buff where my partner is big into Vinyl but I found a few Vinyls for myself here which is always a shocker! Good diverse catalogue of genres and shop owner was friendly and chatted about the records we picked out. Very fair prices on sealed and pre-owned CDs.
