Ben is very unpleasant and condescending. He was so rude and dismissive. Not only to me but I overheard him with some of his coworkers. I found out he was the assistant manager from one of the employees. I wanted to ask for his manager but I was so overwhelmed and upset that I left and will call into the store or corporate. I was so bothered by this I went back and forth with myself about posting this for a few days now but it’s still eating at me. I’m not sure if it was intentional (racially motivated) but it was almost as if he was finding other people (that didn’t look like me)to work with just to avoid helping me. I had to chase him down only for him to respond as if I was bothering him. Needless to say I did not spend my money there!!!!!
This store has a great selection of retro stuff and games. The pricing is a bit high for my liking. I didnt buy anything from my visit. They did get a pokemon card restock while I was there. Of course market prices for the pokemon stuff. No MSRP in sight.
SELLER BEWEAR!!!! they only offer me 20% of what your stuff is worth if that isn't the biggest rip off iv ever heard not even 50% and will charge the highest price they can find on ebay to the next victim. UPDATE 10/20/2025 went into the store was looking at pokemon product / single cards their prices are marked at top retail prices and or crazy ask price. But the cards are moderately played condition and not anywhere near nm prices and if you ask them what condition they mark their prices at they act dumb and say I dont know ? And the card i was trying to buy the employee kept slamming and bending it as he picked it up and was trying to rush me to buy it . There is no refunds they will not honor anything even with a receipt. Also they have ps5 used condition for 69.99 like how ?!
Nice selection of all media formats and a wide variety of items for pop culture enthusiasts. Prices vary from typical retail for new items, to "bargain" for used / red tag items. They carry 4K as well as brand-new recent releases you may have missed in the theatre. There is also a small 'Criterion' section. Always surprised by what I find. My only complaint is there seems to be virtually no staff on the sales floor when you need them. [They do have one or two managers who can be very helpful -- even checking discs for scratches, etc. before selling to you. That is, if you manage to catch them on the day they're working.] As general staff goes, they have PLENTY of employees, but they all tend to be found behind the register waiting for the next "checkout rush." That is my only real complaint.
I was not expecting this store to carry so much media, collectables and accessories. I was mainly interesting in their classic video games. They have a large variety of games for the Playstation 1/Xbox OG to the current gen consoles. They even have some games for the NES, SNES and Sega Genesis. I did not see many games for the niche consoles like Sega CD, PS Vita, Dreamcast and ect. Their DVD section is huge and and they have tons of box sets for those who cut the cord and now need to cut the stream on all of the streaming services that are now available. There is a fairly large CD and record section with plenty to choose from but it wasn't categorized or alphabetized which seemed to make it more of a hunt to find what you were looking for. To round it out they have posters, toys, figurines, weapons replicas, cards and so much more. My visit was only about 20 minutes but I could have stayed for hours combing through the vast selection of goodies while reminiscing of a time when you didn't rent content. Definitely worth a trip for anyone considering it.
