Great little record spot, packed with records, good prices, guy who runs it is well-versed

My partner and I were in town from Chicago for a family wedding, and we tend to stop by record stores anywhere we go. Dowda's was a very happy surprise, and not your typical shop. My collection tends towards international and I did not expect to find so many great picks in Chattanooga-- the owner has fantastic taste. Stop in!

Excellent place! Owner is knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Amazingly eclectic selection of media. Not just vinyl. Great place to shop for the music lover in your life.

Great place, the owner knows his stuff!

Had this place been open maybe I would think it was great but when I visited during the hours both website and sign outside building said it would be, there was no one there. Had other locals at other record stores in Chattanooga say that it's common for the owner to just open whenever that you can't go by the times posted. Heard he had a good stash though. But
