Vertigo Music

I try to squeeze in a visit to Vertigo every time I'm in Grand Rapids. Huge, diverse selection of both new and used music, and the staff there is wonderful. Always friendly and helpful. Great vibes all around.

This record store is dangerous. They had SO many good records. Their selection of everything in the store was fantastic. This will definitely turn into a regular stop when I'm downtown Grand Rapids!

Insane amount of cds to choose from. I love how the cashier greet everyone who enters. Really cheap cds and in AMAZING condition but kinda wish they had more of the albums I like in stock.

What an amazing shop! One of the best record shops I've been in. Huge selection of new and used vinyl and cds. I was really shocked by how good the selection was. There's stuff that I look for in every a record shop I've gone into for years-artists that you just never see vinyl from-but vertigo has them, often multiple albums! Really impressive Blues and R&B/Soul sections, and even had a great selection of punk and harder rock (mostly new). Huge bargain bins that we didn't even get a chance to really go through. Prices were very fair, and even the new stuff was priced very reasonably. The owner was a really nice guy, and even knocked a few bucks off since we were walking out with a huge stack (and we could have left with way more. We had to show some real restraint!) Its worth a trip to make it to Vertigo, a trip we will definitely make again.
