Val's halla Records

My son and I stopped by just to check out some cassettes and left with multiple records and dvd’s. Plenty of great finds and good deal, we will definitely be back again.

I love Val's! It's my go to spot the staff are great and so helpful. They helped me set up my first record player a few years ago and have done an amazing job with Record Store Day and ordering what you need.

If you're looking for a place to browse records look no further. If they don't have what you're looking for and they will do their best to try and get it for you. Some things might take time but it's worth the wait. They don't forget. Just recently they found me a record I asked them to look for about 5 years ago. Just an absolute amazing team great environment, and don't forget to check out the events they host.

I am reviewing the Hyphenated Music Series that Val's Halla Records is hosting. We came to hear Sons of Ra perform on the stage at the back of the store. Drinks were available for purchase and there were swivel bar stools setup in one of the aisles. I think that it is great that the record store is hosting live performances of eclectic bands.

Everyday is record store day! Val's halla is one of the local independent record stores I support in the Chicagoland area, Oak Park in this case. Always looking to add a piece or two of vinyl to add to my collection. Ministry and Buzzcocks purchased this visit. 🎶🎸🎷🪗🎵
