Come by for records, stay for a good conversation. The folks running this record shop are amazing, patient, and caring for everyone who strolls in. This was our first time here, and won’t be the last. Keep an open mind when searching for music, you will run into records that you’re not familiar with, that’s ok. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, or for recs if you know what you’re into. If there’s something coming out soon that you’d like, they’re more than happy to pre order for you. Can’t compliment our expedite enough.
This place is so refreshing. Came here for a Puscifer listening party and no expectations. Left with a whole stack of new records and a deep respect for this place. Owner does talk a lot, but honestly let the man cook. He’s doing you a favor by imparting some knowledge on you. Super kind. I love the post-it notes on the albums the way it’s organized. I will be back ❤️
I have been going to this record store since they first opened and it is a very unique and inviting space. The owners are extremely passionate about what they do, and are extremely helpful. The idea of having records organised by price is fun as it makes every time a unique adventure and experience. The overall selection of the store is also great, they have everything from modern to 80s and sometime even have Mexican records which are extremely hard to come by. The conversations and interactions with the owners also make the store visit enjoyable. If you have not visited I suggest you do!
I was in there yesterday with my adult daughter and walked out before even looking around. Maybe our interaction with the owner right as we walked in was just a little too much. He’s a talker and seemingly always on. I get it, you got your thing. I can respect that, I’m asking that people learn to respect others that might not be into that. I will gladly shop there. I love records. It is personal, as the owner likes to claim. Please don’t tell people that if they’re not big into interacting to just leave. I wish your shop all the success.
If you’re a music lover, you have to check out the record shop on 95th! This husband-and-wife-owned gem is run by two locals who grew up in Evergreen Park, and their passion for music truly shines through. They’re incredibly knowledgeable and always happy to chat about different artists, genres, and recommendations. The shop itself has such a fun and welcoming vibe, making it a great place to browse. They have tons of records to choose from, with different price points to fit any budget. And if they don’t have what you’re looking for, they can order it for you—talk about great service! Supporting small businesses like this one is so important, and I can’t recommend them enough. Whether you’re a collector or just getting into vinyl, this is the perfect spot to find your next favorite record!
