Make sure to get there early! Arrived 1/2 hour before closing. Owner basically threw us out as we were purchasing $700 piece. They were ringing us up but she wanted us out. Sold items here in the past. Same “customer service “ then too! Great merchandise… with a lot of attitude! Terrible customer service!

Located in Prickly Pear Square, the Private Collection is a shopping paradise for high end and often one of a kind furnishings that are perfectly in line with the aesthetic this desert community loves. Taking up an entire city block with multiple buildings, the store offers excellent pieces from all design genres, including art deco, mid century modern, Victorian, Chinese antiquities and one of a kind art pieces. The prices are perhaps a bit under that of an antique store, with more whimsical merchandise offerings. It's a fun experience to shop here and you'll be entertained by the staging of the furnishings that are of very different time periods complimenting the other pieces surrounding them. Sales staff are relaxed and helpful. I highly recommend checking out the Private Collection.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this consignment shop! The selection was curated, clean, and full of beautiful unique finds. Monica was incredible—so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. You can tell this shop truly cares about its customers. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!

Great place for high quality home furnishings and art. Got screwed by their shipper who claims to have insured lamps and when they arrived broken, I'm out a bunch of money. Carrier says NOT insured at all; shipper cannot find paperwork and won't reimburse; Private Collection washes their hands of the situation. Having spent well over 10k over time here, I consider this unacceptable service. BEWARE OF SHIPPING ITEMS!!

My grandparents made a recent purchase of a gloss art print a long with other items needed for their casita. The lady who helped them was named Monica and she was very kind and patient with them. She even set up the items transportation to the house. The owner lady was also very kind to them. We do not see that in this valley now. Great experience.
