The Panda Studios

I have wanted to record with Panda Studios since I was 15 (a decade), and let me tell you, the experience did not disappoint. Sam’s techniques and extensive collection and knowledge of gear is only one part of what makes records there so great. You are pushed to be your very best, and ever better than you were just a moment before everyday, and just when things hit a wall, Sam knows exactly how to lighten the mood by taking a break to watch an interesting video about music or just talk about anything to give some relief. You will also work with Theresa, one of the nicest persons ever who is a very talented engineer, especially with vocals. I would not think twice about working with this group again, they are truly our new best friends.

I had the ultimately deluxe experience of staying at panda for a week and getting fully immersed in my project. I probably had the best week of my life. a few things: 1. best friends 2. the vibe of the session is unmatched, and as long as you're a good human with your shit together, you will have an amazing time, probably the best time of your life Sam is truly a one of kind person. audio wise, he is a true wizard, and even has the pointy beard to prove it. there is nobody on earth I trust more than sam to help me execute on a vision. the result of my session was just a way better, leaner, meaner, way more professional sounding version of what I already had, which is exactly what I was after. Theresa was an absolutely pleasure to work with as well - she simply gets it. I had the opportunity to spend 2 full days in synth land (panda east) with Theresa while Sam was editing drums i did previously in the main control room. Theresa is calm, skilled, easy to be around, and a wonderful human being. with her at the controls, I was able to fully immerse in synth design, not worry about anything except finding the tone I wanted. She made it so easy to go back and forth to synths, parts, etc, and never lost her positive attitude. all in all, it's a truly amazing place. it will be hard to convince me there is a better way to spend time than coming here and working on a project, and being best friends.

Incredible 11/10 experience. Sam and the other engineers are all masters at what they do. They bring out the best in artists and took our tracks to a level I didn't think was possible. Theresa is a fantastic engineer to work with. She's incredibly competent in her recording and mixing skills. She effortlessly wrote amazing harmonies for songs on the spot, made me feel relaxed to deliver the strongest vocal performance I could, and demonstrated attention to detail in her craft I found inspiring. RJ was a pleasure to worth with and even recorded an impromptu saxophone solo on one of our songs I couldn't be more pleased with. Sam was beyond great to work with. He is absolutely brilliant at what he does and his dedication to making our project the best it could be was more than we could possibly ask for. Panda studios has the perfect mix of being viscously dialed and making it an incredibly fun and rewarding experience. On our final day of the week session, I learned more about songwriting/composition with Sam in 5 hours than I had in the past five years. Couldn't recommend this place enough to anybody wanting to create music. Thank you Panda!

My bandmate and I stayed on site for two weeks while we schemed up our debut project with Mr. Pura and his team. Aaron, David, Theresa, Sam himself, and Sim gave us a great experience of which we will never forget. The facilities, hospitality, work professionalism, and friendship that this studio is structured upon is one of a kind. Cheers

Great vibe in this clean, professional space and they have all the gear you need to make your artistic vision a reality! Sam and his staff are super easy to work with. Highly recommended.
