Great spot R&B, Jazz, Rap, Reggae and some interesting Japanese imports. Definitely not the place if you’re looking for classic rock or metal (there’s plenty of options) and this place fills an important niche. Prices were reasonable and guy behind the counter was nice and knowledgeable.

Soundtracks is the real deal! The attention to detail in the packaging of these records is next level. The selection is top tier. I've been to record stores across the entire east coast and this one is probably in the top 3 in my books. The owner is not only knowledgeable but super friendly and attentive. This shop gained a new regular yesterday. I can't give enough stars or write enough about this shop. Just stop by and be amazed ☝🏽

I just went in there and the atmosphere was great! Nice music playing constantly! They had a great hiphop/rap section, and these mystery bags that had like 8 vinyls in them for 10$ each! I haven’t opened them yet, but if you don’t know what to get, it’s a good deal.

A highly curated record store, full of awesome stuff that a knowledgeable human picked, with friendly staff to help. One of Boston's two greatest and most unique record stores, along with the Music Research Library down in Beacon Hill. A must visit for fans of modern and interesting stuff!

Can’t say enough about how cool this place is ! Friendly staff and amazing deep dive collections of soundtracks even my film historian hasn’t heard of ! Great soul jazz hip hop too and they even let me hear some of a Godzilla soundtrack ! Must visit for Salem witch watchers and vacationers loving vinyl
