I have supported this local business for many years. Always giving them the benefit of the doubt when it came to their policies and procedures. I loved their comic book and Pokémon selections among the history of video games and musical merchandise as well. Unfortunately, they have become very inhospitable, way overpriced and they borderline false advertise what they do. I, among others, have approached this business with a diverse array of merchandise over the years only to turned away or offered low store credit. Never cash options like advertised or proper store credit. I attributed it to maybe bad timing or overstocked inventory but at some point you need to change your advertising to match current situations. Will not return as their are other options available now a days. Shop local they say…this is why local shops fail.
Wish I could give a higher rating as they are a very nice shop and my son loves to come and look at old toys and stuff, But unfortunately as someone who plays one piece and was excited for booster boxes to drop today, I was highly disappointed they were charging 205 a box after taxes, especially when not only op13 but the last couple sets they have had for 140, seems they may value the new boom in one piece over local players and collectors. Hope next set is not scalped pricing, Until then I cant in good conscious buy a box that msrps for 130 for 205.
I would have given this store a higher rating because it used to be a solid shop with fair pricing, especially on new One Piece TCG releases. Unfortunately, that has changed. Today I was surprised to see OP14 priced at double MSRP. Just a few months ago, they were only charging about $15 over MSRP for PRB2 and OP13, both of which were special sets and arguably more valuable than OP14. It is disappointing to see what was once a staple of the local community take advantage of the current boom and inflated prices surrounding the One Piece TCG. For a store that receives allocation, pricing product at these levels feels unjustified and out of step with supporting the player community.
Best vintage video game, coming book and music store I've ever been too. I've bought 3 controllers 5 video games and every single time it was a great experience. I bought a Xbox 360 game and it was broken, came back 2 days later with a full renewal no questions asked.
This place is like a nostalgic time warp! It’s packed with games, videos, figures, and comics. I love stopping by to check out their inventory, as it changes frequently. I recently bought five PS3 games and several video disks, and they’ve been great so far. Overall, it’s a really nice place to explore and relive some great memories.
