Music City

What do you get when you cross a old school guitar store with a top notch new and used record and CD store? This place! I've been all over the country and places like this are few and far between. Full-service guitar and all musical instruments shop with new and used inventory to rival any of the big boxes in the front of the store, then step into the back and see thousands upon thousands of new and used CD viny,l t-shirts, and other music stuff. They buy sell and trade. I live about an hour away and come here several times a year. I go out of my way anytime I'm in the Binghamton area to swing by. You should too...

After going to Guitar Center in Johnson City, where I came away empty handed and underwhelmed by the eagerness of the associate to help me, I called Music City to see if it was worth my drive there. They might have what I was looking for, so I ventured forth, when I arrived Mac was very attentive and helpful, even with many customers in the store, within a few minutes, I was happily headed home with my new purchase, exactly what I was looking for! Thank you Mac, it's a perfect fit!

Very niche record (and more!) shop located in the heart of town; close to fast food/dining, shopping centers, Bing U and Johnson City hospital. I’m pretty sure this will be another place my family will visit every time we’re up here from Long Island. Music City boasts tons of t-shirts (especially if you love the Grateful Dead!), records, stickers, instruments & sheet music. Don’t expect to walk out empty handed 😅😉

I’ve been to music stores all over the country and Music City is by far one of the best. Would give more stars if I could. Benny is just fantastic to talk to and makes you feel at home and gives no pressure to buy anything. He is just there to share his passion for music. This little gem in Vestal has everything you could possibly need music related: - fantastic selection of CD’s, vinyls, posters. - tons of used and new guitars and amps - various other instruments like cellos, violins, clarinets, keyboards, - studio recording equipment, cables, record players - repairs and lessons - and even more

Great place! My husband was looking for a guitar and amp. I had emailed them asking about certain guitars. Benny emailed me back later that day. We decided to go there. Benny was amazing! No pressure sales, extremely helpful. My husband got a guitar and amp that he is super happy with. Prices are great. And I found the Satriani cd that I was looking for. =) Highly recommend going there!
