Had one of the worst Customer Experiences in a game store that didn't involve getting ripped off. Was inside looking at the wall of movies for maybe an hour while the clerk complained to his coworker about every little thing he could observe. From whining about specific customers, to trade ins, to how he enjoyed writing checks for trade ins on Saturdays because the people trading in would have to wait till Monday and just suffer. After this hour of pulling up movies off the wall and hearing every problem involving retail, I took my selection up and the other clerk was at least trying to be pleasant. She rang me up with no complaints. The whiner proceeded to audibly complain about what films I bought because he'd have to figure out where it was in a drawer. Imagine hearing gripes in response to buying something. If I need to get something from Slackers, from now on, I'll go to the mall. To the Gal behind the counter if she sees this, you have the patience of a saint hearing your coworker whine like that the whole time.
I appreciate the fair prices on TCG PRODUCTS! Best place for all types of games, music products collectables and more.
No one greets you when you walk in. I wasn’t asked if I needed help either. This will be the last time I go to this Slackers..no wonder it’s a dying business…
Anything but slacking here. Just look at how incredible it is here. Stocked from floor to ceiling with top-notch, grade “A” material. The attention to detail is truly commendable. It makes it much easier to make a decision. This is definitely a one-stop shop where you can feel good about the competitive pricing and atmosphere. Oh, and did I mention the staff is incredibly knowledgeable or willing to find what truly matters to anyone who shops there? What can’t you love about it? They act like, “I got that super rare item, like WHAT!? When eBay or anyone else doesn’t, somehow they just casually say, ‘I got three copies, one of which is still sealed.’ Dang, that feels good!” Talk about #Memory-Lane-R-US. Conclusion: Cool dude, we need to go!
Been coming to all the Slackers in the area for years! Workers don't mind having a conversation about whatever nerdy stuff you are into, and there are all kinds of stuff old and new! Picked up a comic and laughed about some cheap little pokemon figures!
