Sign Time

I very rarely leave reviews, however I had a really disappointing experience trying to get a banner designed. Sign Time came recommended and they currently have only 5 star reviews, so that made my experience extra frustrating and disappointing. My very negative experience was with their employee Michael. I provided an example of the banner I was replacing but explained that I was open to change. I honestly thought the initial design I received was a joke. While I was open to changes from the original design, the design I was given was mainly comprised of clashing clip art that had very little to do with my business or any of the information I had presented. I was never asked for clarity. I had also been very specific with what wording needed to be included due to legal requirements for the banner. The initial design had the word ethically replaced with the word ethnically, possibly a typo, however it completely changes the meaning and really encapsulates the general sloppiness of the attempt. I did provide feedback and received a prompt second draft, although that draft was just a poor copy of what I had originally provided. The second draft had my logo visibly off center. Part of my feedback had been that my logo needed to be centered and central. The stinger is that after two very lack luster design drafts the designer had raised the quoted design fee. I explained that I didn't think we would be able to do business due to our clear divide in work ethic and approached to customer service and the designer more or less blamed me for the failings. I had hoped for some attempt from the business to fix the problem but that did not happen. I am very proud to support Tulare County business as often as possible, but I would not recommend this business to anyone. The one positive I can say is that their communication was prompt.
