A great intimate shop that packs a punch. Great prices on CDs and awesome wall items. The thing that stood out is how good the condition of product was. You can tell they care and that's always a plus. Great shop. Highly recommend!

I have followed Sibylline Records for the last few years online through their social media and am always amazed at the quality of records they put out and their curation. They have something for everyone, particularly jazz. Their online ordering is always very fast and smooth. I was finally able to visit yesterday in person and it did not disappoint. The staff person was super friendly and the shop was amazing. I never felt rushed and the person working answered all my questions. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to go dig records. Their prices are always super fair too.

I'm just a local, degenerate, hipster douche who has high standards for a record store to make me want to return... ladies and gents! These guys not only have an insane selection at great price, they are some of the friendliest people you'll have the pleasure to engage with about music. As someone born and raised in the area, I'm externally grateful for their presence in pasadena.

As a vinyl collector, I've visited many record shops in the LA and SGV areas. Out of all those shop, I must say Sibylline is at the top. Its a small shop but they always have a great selection of various types of music. Most importantly is that they really focus on quality. Most of the records are in really good to mint condition. They use nice thick cover sleeves to protect the records and they also put the record in its own quality inner sleeve (with the rounded edges too for easier insertion into the cover). They also put the record on the outside so you can see the quality of it and ensure that its the correct record. Yes Ive seen the wrong records inside of covers many times. On top of that, their prices are great. Even rare records are priced fairly making for a great experience. Some shops price gouge just because a record is old or rare but not here. They actually care about their customers and offer good deals that keep you coming back. Overall, visiting the store is a great experience and all the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. If you're into vinyl either as a hobby or seriously collector, I highly recommend Sibylline Records. Youre sure to find some neat and rare records there, whether 45's or 33's and all genres. Nice little gem in Pasadena.

My dad was a professional musician through my childhood and he had a massive influence on my appreciation for music, and for discovering new music through record shop digging. He also had an amazing record collection, accumulated from years of record shop digging and being around many top tier musicians. Fast-forward to modern times...I had visited Sibylline Records every time I came home to visit my dad, in Pasadena. I loved the vibe of the shop and I loved doing some digging whenever I was in the neighborhood. The shop didn't always have what I was looking for but I did appreciate the high caliber curation of vinyl they had on a daily basis. When my dad passed away in July, 2025, I stopped by the shop to see if the owners, Shane and Caity, were interested in looking through his collection. They called me a day or two later and we set up a time for them to come see the collection. I don't think they were truly ready to stumble onto such a small collection a really stellar vinyl. Shane and Caity came in and immediately started separating out first press after first press, they knew so much more about each record than I did, it was very impressive!!! And this speaks directly to how they continue to bring in such high caliber music to Sibylline Records week in and week out. I can't recommend Sibylline Records strongly enough, no matter the musical genre. So go check it out and get lost in the crates, you won't be disappointed!
