I have been coming here my whole life and I absolutely love it. Nothing like that nostalgic smell. The staff is always so helpful and can get anything ordered within a few days usually. It is an important LA establishment❤️
In accordance with Amanda Mcbroom we see: Some say love... it is a razor that leaves your soul to bleed. Originally sung by : Bette Midler.
Old school albums, CDs, and more. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Very hip selection of old and new and rare stuff. Worth checking out.
Title: Friendly Service, Organized Store, but Initial Awkwardness Review: I recently visited this store to buy a CD, and the guy at the counter was really nice and helpful. The store is somewhat organized, making it easy to find what you're looking for. However, the initial experience can be a bit awkward as nobody greets you when you walk in. It would be great if they could improve on the welcoming aspect. Overall, a positive experience once you engage with the staff.
When you need to find records in the SGV area, this is probably one of the last great music stores. My husband goes to this place pretty often to get his fix of second-hand records-- in fact, this is probably the first record store he went to back in middle school. You can probably spend hours bargain hunting, or just admiring all the music played in this store. They have a big selection of classical music-- more my flavor. Check the hours before you come thought because they open a little later and were closed last time I was here in the morning.
