Helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming with a Gen X vibe. When I walked in I was transported back to the 90s. The owner knows his music unlike any other record stores I've contacted in Mooresville. He knows the artists. He knows the albums.

Nice little shop downtown. The owner is super knowledgeable, welcoming, and friendly. Was able to snag a Common Saints LP I’ve been eyeing. Great selection of soundtrack LP’s as well!

I LOVE Sell Your Soul Records! I had the best time talking with the owner about Body Count and the bands we grew up listening to with our brothers. It’s a small store with a great selection, and the screen printing is top notch (I love my tote bag!). Can’t wait to be back in Mooresville so I can stop back in!

Overall positive experience. The employee at the store was pleasant and offered to help find anything specific I was looking for. I browsed around the main LP table in the center which was mostly organized alphabetically (no dividers). This section was primarily new/sealed albums and reasonable pricing vs competitors. On this table at least there was very little country genre representation, but a good mix otherwise. Outside of this main table the rest of the store felt much less organized with no labeling for what was where. I probably would have browsed around longer if I knew what bins contained what genres (or even which bins were meant to be browsed), and if there were alphabetic dividers (this is the reason for the star reduction), as it made the store less inviting. Overall I plan to stop back in to browse and likely purchase again.

The best record store in town! A record is always playing on the turntable, creating a warm, welcoming environment. A large selection of vinyl, CDs, and even cassette tapes from all genres, new or old. The owner, Vincent is very knowledgeable about all types of music and will make sure that you have a laugh while visiting the store. A must-visit!
