Literally the best record store, from the friendly and helpful staff to the gorgeous interior space to the consistently great selection of used CDs (my fave). Dan really created something special with Seasick and we’re so lucky to have it in Bham.
At least once a month, I like to shop at Seasick Records for several reasons. 1. The selection is top notch with an abundant variety of different artists to choose from. 2. The shipping and packing of records is simply outstanding! I reached out about an order this morning and had my email answered quickly. 3. Great customer service and friendly staff! I only wish I could come there in person if I lived closer. I’ve already bought several shirts online and wear them daily! Thanks so much Seasick Records! - Todd
Went for the first time for the Breach listening party and it was amazing!! Huge selection of vinyls and CDs and the mural was beautiful
I am posting this review a little late, but I came here for the Record Store Day black friday sale. Seasick Records posted that they would give out tote bags to the first 100 people, so we came out a couple hours early. We were the 48 and 49th in line. It was pretty cold out, so they had people take tickets. People then left to go in their cars or go home, and then when they opened at 10, they had people line up. I thought that this was very nice of them to do, as it was very organized. The store was also organized well, with the RSD products being first in the store, and then everything else after. The employees working were incredibly helpful. Overall, I had a very positive experience! This was my first time ever doing a Black Friday shopping thing, so I am glad it was so smooth and simple.
My son, who is a college student, was provided the name of this shop to check out by one of his friends. He and I enjoy checking out our surroundings as well as unique places / shops. My son had never frequented a record store before, so we went. There was a great variety of albums, cassettes, and figurines. Truly loved the Beatles wall mural specifically. Items were reasonably priced. I'll definitely recommend if ever anyone mentions an interest in a good music shop.
