Rock Of Ages

This is a place must if your in the Detroit area. It's a nostalgic gem that has been around for years and hopefully more. I love rock of Ages. You guys rock.

Super awesome collection store! They basically have an endless supply of vinyl, CDs, tapes, and lots of posters or collector items! I would 100/10 go here again!

I think I'm going to fall in love with this place. For the year 2026, I have decided that my new hobby will be to build the greatest vinyl collection ever. I needed some Christmas music. So I stopped in to Rock of Ages to give it a look. The place is packed with vinyls, CD's, and other music related paraphernalia, including clothing and jewelry. The owners are extremely friendly and ready to help. They were able to tell me that they did not have Joe Satriani on vinyl, but they did have it on CD. It was an impulse buy that I wasn't thinking of until I got there. For the Holiday music, they had a ton of old, vintage music. Vinyls from Bing Crosby and that crooning, caroling era. The best part is that the older the music, the lower the price. I bought several holiday vinyls for $1.00 - $2.00 each. The Joe Satriani CD was only $3.00. IMO that was a steal! This will definitely be where I begin the search and collection of the greatest vinyl records in history. Wish me luck! 4/5 stars for only one reason: I am unsure if their inventory is fully cataloged or not. The store is so packed that I searched through multiple places where it was possible the items could be that I was looking for. (This is where just asking is a big help!)

I did not get a full chance to walk around the store. I have vinyl CDs I believe tapes. Patches, buttons, stickers and pins. The staff was great the store had amazing vibes. Would like to go back when I have more time to explore.

What an INCREDIBLE place! Bob and Reagen are very helpful. Reagen even did a lot of my tracking down of LPS that I wanted to purchase. Absolutely fantastic customer service. You don't see this much anymore, but they take great pride in taking good care of their customers. I will most assuredly be back for more
