Andy at Ripe records is great! He runs a great little record store with a great selection of both old and new content. He is also super honest. I brought in a few crates of records to sell to him because I got tired listing them all on discogs. they were mostly throw away records... I figured he'd give me maybe 50 bucks for the lot of them. He quickly looked through them and gave me 60 bucks. The next time I went in, he said he'd had more time to look through them, and that he owed me some money and promptly wrote me a check for more than 10 times what I expected. Thanks Andy!

Recently set up my AudioTechnica turntable and have been itching to expand my Classical Vinyl selection. What I can say about this record store and it's owner is that the establishment is in impeccable shape. I picked up a half dozen Classical records and they too were in mint to near mint condition. Will definitely return and explore.

Lovely place. Very short trip just outside of Detroit proper. I spent a little over an hour flipping through the mostly organized selection of new and used vinyl. Found something I've been wanting to grab. The staff was kind and down to help. I could tell by a few conversations that they have developed a great rapport with their patrons. If I lived in the area, I could definitely see myself stopping in from time to time.

Andy is awesome. Great vibes, great selection, great customer service. He is very knowledgeable and is very attentive to be sure you go home with product that enjoy and will use correctly. He even set up my new turntable (that I bought here) with my speakers. (I set up the turntable wrong).
