I love this place. It's like a hidden gem.Darren is a great guy. So far I have bought two albums used an excellent condition with no complaints they play perfectly. I am looking forward going back this weekend. The album I posted of the grateful dead is the one I've never seen before anywhere. I have a lot more looking to do. I have a feeling I didn't even scratch the surface. I bought a tuner from here and it's wonderful. Thanks again Darren.
Staff was extremely helpful in helping me pick out a vintage Pioneer receiver that has been working like a charm and sounding amazing with my numerous players of differing physical media formats. I have also found tons of gems here in their punk/hardcore, blues/folk, country, and soul/funk sections. Everything is priced fairly in an era where many record stores are legitimately price gouging. One of the best record stores in NJ, you will not be disappointed.
I love this place. I believe their names are Maddy, Pat, 2 Brendan (I may have the spelling wrong) ALL were awesome with our questions. Great customer service. They really are passionate about what they do. Cool spot to take your teenagers and vinyl buffs. They have a large selection.
Went in today for the first time ever, upon entering I thought, this is a cool shop…….until I was left waiting at the counter with an LP and CD, one of the “employees” thought it would be good business to just stand there and talk with another person…… lame & pretentious shop! Better to have gone to Music Connection in Elmwood Park, the owner Joe is the man!
I really do like this place to shop! However I wouldn’t recommend selling vinyls to them as they don’t really give you a good price. I brought in 6 vinyls (2 sealed) and they said they could do $25 for all since they can buy it from a distributor, but wouldn’t you want to buy something sealed at a cheaper price? The vinyls are at least worth a little under $100, and that’s being generous since they’re worth more. Otherwise, cute little shop to shop at, just don’t recommend selling to them because they give you the GameStop treatment.
