Rediscover Records

I was trying to sell one of my records for $15 and the guy said that as long as the record was in the condition I described on the phone, then he would do it. He made good on his word.

Rediscover Records in Elgin has a really cool vibe. The place was busy when I stopped in, which just added to the energy. They’ve got a solid selection to dig through, and I found plenty worth checking out. The guy behind the counter (owner?) I spoke with was friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. All around, it’s a great spot for anyone into vinyl—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Rediscover Records is one of the best Record stores in the Chicago Area! Carrying all eras and genres of vinyl at great prices. Also a dollar section as well. A big plus for me is the excellent cassette tape selection at great prices, as well as cds. I didn't catch the man's name that runs the stote but he was very friendly, laid back and asks his customers how their day is. He is very personal and i love that. This Record Store is not a snobby one that i tend to run across and wants his customers to experience music as it is meant. A great asset to Elgin and i highly recommend if in the area!

If you haven't been to Rediscover Records, WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN DOING WITH YOUR LIFE?! We've been here a few times and we'll be back. Great prices, AMAZING variety, and excellent employees know their store and are very helpful. My brother found a record that is very hard to find at a great price!
