Just visited and the selection was amazing, easily searchable-- with an incredibly atmosphere with a cozy couch for easy listening. If you are looking for a different record store with good deals-- this is the spot.

Just visited this record store today and I was very impressed. The layout is superb, it is clean, easy to browse, and thoughtfully curated. What stood out most to me was the quality over quantity approach. Every record felt hand-picked and carefully vetted, like nothing made it onto the shelf unless it deserved to be there. There’s even a crate of rare vinyl that was really cool to flip through. (Some gems in there for sure!) The vibe here is genuinely great. Super chill, welcoming energy, and Scott (the owner) couldn’t have been more friendly or knowledgeable. You can tell he really cares about the music and the community he's built around the store. Highly recommend checking this place out, it’s the best in Bloomington! Congrats on 4 years Scott, here’s to many more!

A very nice mix of vintage and more current albums that span all different sorts of genres. All of the prices were reasonable and there were many "random bins" that housed anything for 2 bucks. The owner was very knowledgeable and nice to assist with hunting for specifics. If you are a vinyl-phile, you owe it to yourself to stop in

We stopped by on a whim and enjoyed our experience. Oddly enough they had a bundle of Neil Diamond records that I bought, the gentleman working talked to me about the purchase and my goal to find one particular Neil Diamond records. I appreciate the experience this random bundle brought back so many memories of my dad who loved Neil, and I'll find that Christmas album someday too on a random stop in. Thanks for a relaxed laid back experience.

Absolutely love this place!! I'm a DJ from Chicago specializing in all sorts of dance music, from 70s funk and RnB to deep house and techno. I found LOTS of great rare cuts at reckless saint in almost every genre I like to spin. I also came in with a few friends who are also into vinyl and although they aren't necessarily avid collectors, they all were able to find some more well known classic rock and blues records they recognized and enjoyed. That being said, I ended up spending a good hour plus in the store after they left. Scott is a great, friendly guy with a great taste in music and an excellent ear for curating his selection. He even offered to let me look through a few crates of obscure 12" singles he'd just picked up and hadn't yet priced and, let me tell you, I could've spent another 2 hours digging through the rest of those stacks but I had to cut myself off. It's tough to find spots that satisfy both obscure crate diggers like myself and those who simply enjoy collecting their favorite, well known records but reckless saint does that perfectly. It's easily my favorite spot within 100 miles and even competes with my favorite Chicago spots. Not to mention he's got a great collection of vintage stereo equipment and music gear on hand as well. I can't recommend this place enough. It's far from the largest selection but if you take the time to dig through a crate or 2, I promise you'll find at least a few records that catch your eye and if you ask me, that's better than a never ending stack of records you've never seen before. Well, actually that sounds kinda sick to me but probably not to normal humans who don't spend half their free time in record stores digging for diamonds in the rough. In summary, Scott managed to fit a little something for everyone in a small yet inviting and open space. All I'd say is missing is a listening station or 2 to test out some of the older cuts and you've got a perfect record store
