Re-Animated Records

What an awesome little place. Selection is phenomenal. My son has been getting into vinyls and they have a huge selection. Super nice people willing to help.

Stopped in today to sell some tapes and met Nick. He evaluated my classic rock cassette tapes, explained what he expected to sell them for at retail, and then made me an offer. Considering he now has to turn around and sell them, I felt the offer was fair, and it was a pleasure doing business with him. The store has a very eclectic mix of items, and I really enjoyed browsing all the fantastic merchandise. I plan to return soon to bring more items to sell and to pick up a few things I spotted on this visit. Great store! Parking is available around the corner for a few dollars.

I rarely write reviews for anything but will go out of my way for my positive experience I had with Re-Animated Records. I bought a record last week that turned out to be a release that I did not want so I brought the record back and asked if they could do any sort of exchange for the record. Re-Animated were very cooperative in their solution with me and I was able to get my issue resolved instantly! They have a great selection as well and are definitely the leader in San Diego when it comes to keeping all forms of physical media alive (LPs, CDs, DVDs and VHS). Definitely would recommend coming here just to browse and get to experience browsing being connected and browsing physical media which is a magic that streaming has robbed us of.

The best selection media and fun goods curated by the king and queen of downtown La Mesa. The co-owning couple will warm your heart, put smiles on your face, and treat you like family. She is a vintage dream come to life and he is the most noble man in overalls I have ever seen. No better record store in town.

Fantastic place to visit and shop for everything VHS, DVD, B-ray & Music. Also, some figures are for sale. But many are display only.
