Portman's Music Superstore

Nice store with guitars ranging from beginner to very expensive. Good amp selection with a private room to try them in (they had an EVH 5150 iconic, fender deluxe reverb, Vox ac15 etc) no used selection unfortunately. Employees were very nice and polite.

The store was clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. They clearly cared about quality service. I brought in an old guitar which the staff quickly cleaned, restrung, and tuned. The store was busy, but all of the staff were quick to acknowledge customers and let them know they'd be with them soon. The store offers a rewards card and program. They also have rooms for instrument lessons and practice.

I went here specifically for drums accessories and parts. They have a limited supply of everything. More bongos and drum sticks that you can imagine. I guess they don't have enough floor space, granted the guitars use up all the wall space. They seem to favor guitars here, since they have a sound room for them. Yet alone they don't have a website to check their inventory. I chose to check this place out first for drum mufflers because MUSIC & ARTS didn't open till later. After the guy checked his inventory at another location, it was no use but to leave after he pressured me into buying over $1,000 worth of merchandise. If I'm say I'm just browsing, leave it at that. I won't be back.

The staff here is always very courteous and very willing to help you find what you are looking for. I have been renting a saxophone for my eldest daughter from Portman’s for the last three years. I’ve never had any trouble getting repairs or any other friendly service. Definitely a recommended music store.

Amazing experience with amazing people brought in my Ibanez guitar for a tune-up I left feeling inspired honestly good people. This is customer service done right.
