Grantski Records

I'm giving them a very generous four stars. Their in-store selection is on par with most of the record stores I've visited in Georgia thus far. I always hope for better, particularly a wider range of diversity in artists and genre, but that seems to be asking too much. When I go in-store I'm planing to walk out with a record. I did leave here with several records so that was a plus. I did love the fact they had a clean public restroom! Their prices are about the same as other shops. Their customer service seemed pleasant. Although I didn't interact with anyone besides checkout, I did take note of how they treated other customers and how long it took for them to acknowledge customers... An honest 3 solid star experience, which isn't bad. I don't live in the area and likely won't make my way back here.

Grantski records is going on 10 years of well deserved successful business. They started out selling records online part time while being a server at a local restaurant, to moving into their first location that was roughly 600 sq ft on central ave selling vinyl and hosting live music even in that small space. Grantski’s is now in a beautiful large space on broad street that can comfortably host a variety of artists. Their love for the community has always been there. Grantski records has flourished into an amazing space for creatives. The owner has been a part of the music scene as long as I can remember and his character is top notch. He is a business owner that many (should) look up to. His heart and soul for the Augusta community never goes unnoticed. He is extremely knowledgeable and has worked so hard on all the success that we see and nothin has been handed to him. Grantski records is a space of peace, respect, love, and unity. Best small venue there is in the CSRA.

Best place to be downtown! Grantski records has some of the best selections of music out there! And he is often getting new stuff in! You can check the stores instagram page to see them post all the new vinyl they get in! On top of that they do Record Store Day and Record Store Black Friday! There’s always something amazing to find there! Oh and did I forget to mention they double as a music Venue? They have shows sometimes! And they do a fantastic job hosting those as well! Shoutout to Evan Grantski to creating this amazing Store/Venue/Heaven!!!

Grantski Records is a local gem. They have. Great selection of records, collectibles, and also host live music in the shop! I have nothing but good things to say about Evan and his team and cannot recommend this place enough. They have made such a positive impact on the local music scene and community. I highly recommend checking this place out!
