Pop & Hiss

A charming record shop in the Pacific Grove area. We came in the day after they had a Twin Peaks night, so there were still Twin Peaks-themed decorations in the area. There was a decent selection of vinyls, with a room with a photo booth and a bunch of photo strip copies. There was also a back room with a bar, with an open patio behind it. It was pretty quiet when we went into the shop, but the staff were friendly, and we had a pleasant time.

Cute little bar with a record store in the front. I love the rainbow color scheme and atmosphere. Great place to grab a cocktail on Friday night. I recommend the whiskey sour.

Really unique spot! I loved the vibe of a record store/live music/bar/outdoor patio... definitely worth a visit!

We meant to check out their record collection but got distracted by the electric live music! Strong cocktails, sweet bartenders, extra sweet and homely guests! Someone offered us mini cupcakes to celebrate someone's birthday. We got live country and rock music on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and the crowd was awesome.

Dave, Stephanie, and Jackson, and Mikey are all wonderful bartenders and attentive to their customers. I appreciate that they know the locals, while still making new people to town feel like they are also local. The drinks are great, but the vintage atmosphere with the record store in front and the photo booth are an extra special part of this place. Every night with entertainment is different and totally matches the vibe of the place.
