My dad loves vinyl records and was looking forward to spending time in here. He went in today and spent a long time selecting records and not once did the guy by the cashier move or speak to my father. My dad likes to talk people’s ears off about music and I guess he was expecting the guy who works there to offer up some cool anecdotes about the store.
Very cool place. Even if you're not that into records you'd probably enjoy a trip around. The staff member was chill and nice with my kid and helped set him up at the arcade to give us time to look around. I didn't find any of the artists I was looking for, but one I saw that I bought recently was the same price as big box stores. Some records are used and less than $20, but most are in the $25-35 range. The knick knacks and gifts were really cool too.
Great atmosphere. Cool and relaxed. And great music.
Such an awesome gem found when driving on Magazine St. The guy who works there is super knowledgeable and friendly. He offered to ship our purchased items back to our house for a low price and even stayed open after 5pm to chat about artists. Very cool stop!
Good selection of vinyl. Small store but there was a DJ playing music while I shopped. It was a nice vibe. I bought a Cajun record for $20.
